TUESDAY, May 5, 1936 Clear/Cloudy/Rain We went to Watsons this morning. We changed studio couch to plaid covering with maple finish wood work. Also saw about linoleum and made some changed in our colors etc. We bought electric range for $10950 from Sawyers. Went to Percy and Betty Whittall's for lunch with two Elises. Later Percy took us to Princeton where we showed him our house. Then Phil came up. I took a lot of pictures. The roof is nearly shingled. Elise unpacked a trunk we sent trunk back to Moline. Elise Jr leftat 609 for Northhampton. It was great to have her with us and she did enjoy picking out and selecting items for the house.
