Friday, June 19, 1931 Clear 94° -- In field all afternoon with Hornburgh, White, Kough & Ted Johnson. Had four cultivators on wide tread tractor with all the shovels in front. All thought the ourfit did pretty well. Had the new swinging seat. Hornburgh likes it but with muffler as it is on tractor there is not enought view. We are going to try to improve view by moving muffler. Billy is a 2nd class scout. We all went out to Camp Mansur to the "Jamboree" of the scouts.
