Picnic Forks for Watzeks. TUESDAY, JULY 6, 1926 187 Reached Portland at 715 Went to office but Ben Keater was not there so at 930 went with Watzeks for a drive along the Columbia Highway to Oneonta Canyon. Mt. Hood and Adams loomed up a wonderful sight. Cherries along the way which we bought were wonderful. I stayed in Portland while Elise went to Warenor with the Watzeks. I made reservations for Canada. Had dinner with Ben Keator and Murphy and left for Walla Walla with Ben. It was 104° there yesterday. They need 2 bottom tractor for orchard work [Passenger's check low seat Portland to Walla Walla] fenders & wheel.
