[Postage Stamp: German?] My Dear Mrs . Brown 26.6.48 Today only a short greeting since just now I have a chance to send mail along to Berlin. I just wanted to tell you hurriedly that we think of you and your honored husband every day Through your kindness we are all in good health. We ration everything carefully and have a good supply in reserve. Is it not nice that our son will visit you? we are very happy that he has received a scholor- ship. Through him we have a personal connec- tion and he can deliver our thanks to you in person. The trial of my husband, which should have taken placetomorrow has been postponed for a quarter of a year. Is not that cruel? We are all very unhappy about it. All my children and I an above all my husband send heartygreetings. We are all most grateful for your helpful friendship. Wishing you and your family everything that is good, always your thankful, [Signature: Hildegard Sack]
