MONDAY SEPT. 27 1948 Finished the beet topper this afternoon and the Wagon Works are sending it in a car tonight to Colorado. Hermann Altgelt designed this and did an outstanding job. The Russian situation looks very serious. Russiais doing everything she can think of to force us out of Berlin. If she should succeed we would have to get out of Europe & Europe would fall prey to Communist Russia. Russia is worse than Germany was under Hitler. Tuesday. Elise & I called on Grace & Harry Evans in evening.
