Saturday, March 23, 1940 Reached Worcester at 8. Elise, Lee, Bill arrived on sleeper from New York Amy & Kitty met us. Elise and I went to Princeton. OK as far as Holden As we approached Princeton the wind was a gale and snow blew in such clouds it was almost impossible to see altho the sun was shining brightly. Found it ZERo at Princeton. Too much snow to attempt to get in our house. Took some colored picture of the snow. The most winter we've seen. Phil came out in afternoon, we looked at a possible location at 779 Union St for branch house. Then drove the old road to Princeton Boylston & Shrewsbury. It is delightful country. Wire from Larson saying trip to L.I. postponed [Signature: Kate C. Brown] 1 week on account of weather.
