150 SATURDAY, May 29, 1920 With Kate and Roger all day. I took Roger to the shop and we got his tickets for Vancouver and checked 5 trunks 638lbs. Elise took Roger & Kate to Davenport about noon. In afternoon The Arthur Fickes called also Mother Kohler the Hubers. Mrs Vollmer & Priester. Roger & Kate left on the 7.30 train for St. Paul. I hated to say "goodbye" to them. These partings are hard. From the train we went to the McShane Silloway wedding at the Butterworths. It was elaborate in the extreme.
