TUESDAY, June 2, 1925 153 Farrington is quite insistant on a steel evener on N. D. cult like Dempster. [Sketch: measurement] Dempster Clapper Athinson and I drove to Waverly where with L. W. Cobb we saw the 6 horse evener on 3 row cultivator of H. N. ErskineHavelock #2. The outfit turns better one way than it does to the other also there is little equalization of 2 outside horses yet the outfit works pretty well. We saw a new 2 row chase lister cultivator on farm of C. J. Warner Waverly [Drawing: 2 row cultivator.] Also Farmall tractor on same farm equipped with mower 7" bar. They have had 3 mower attachments in 2 yrs. The tractor is liked but is hard to keep from breaking in rear axle housing. Speed mower over 4 miles per hour.
