SATURDAY APRIL 9 1949 Elise went to Dr Kountz's office at 9 this morning for her check up. George took me down town with him and we went over the court house and then spent 2 hours or so in the police department seeing their radio dispatch system for locating their 58 squad cars and 90 motorsycle men. Then through the record room, IBM machine, laboratory, target room, gymnasium etc etc. We had lunch at the Missouri Athletic Club and saw a television of a horse race. Later Elise & I went with Lucy to Clayton & Ladue. We stopped to see KarlVollmer at his home on Upper Ladue Road. The foliage is coming out. Dinner with Elise & George at his house.
