[Insert: Letter] 4/ The political crisis in Berlin looks pretty bleak, and over here with so little news, its hard to [no] so little about what is happening. Ido see the Herald-Timbure (Paris) but it seems rather thin in every way. I may be able to spend a day with [can't read] at Chamonix on my way back to Paris - but so far I haven't had a word from her, so I don't know. One [can't read] exactlywith her. I'll see what I can do about stamps for Jim [can't read]. Does he care whether or not they are cancelled? I seem to have little spare time here - and so there aren't as many drawings as I would like - but there are quite a few. A letter fromNeal said I was accepted in the Illinois State Fair Show. I think I should be home by the 29th of August. So perhaps I will have that week in Princeton with you. Much love - Bill
