It appears the volume of sales this year will be between 206 and 207 millions of dollars and profits about 14 million. At present tractor production at Waterloo is 250 tractors a day at Dubuque 45 tractors a day. In january Waterloo production is to be 275 and in spring 300 while it is hoped to get 80 a day at Dubuque. Waterloo has 6200 employees and another thousand will be needed by spring. Business looks very promising but a note of caution about capital expenditures was sounded. Since 1941$60,000,000 has been spent on plant expansion; as much as has been spent up to that time.
