FRIDAY AUGUST 15 1947 Still hot but Elise Amy Evarts and I met Sarah & Jim Thayer at the Clara Endicott Sears Museum in Harvard. We had lunch at the Tea house and saw the new museum of New England Primatives. Bill went to Cambridge this afternoon. He and Ned will drive to Maine tomorrow for the weekend. [Photographs: house?]
