140 THURSDAY, MAY 20 1926 Had breakfast this morning with Professors Wianska, of Purdue C.O. Reed & McCune of Ohio State amd Musselman of Michigan. Rugherford, Hurd & Elmstedt brought these men to confer on the corn borer situation. The corn binder has been equiped with low cut attachement. That seems the immediate thing to do. Was at lunch & also dinner with these men. Started a lighter cultivator trying to take out 400 or 500 lbs.
