FRIDAY, JAN. 18 1946 It looks very much as though there would be a general steel strike next Monday. Strikers are rampent with no relief in sight. Truman leans heavily on the side of labor. Prices are held down and wages seemingly rising beyond reason. and impossible situation. Mother wrote that Kate & Roger have reservation for the 23rd to Florida.
