Sunday, February 24, 1935 Clear/Rain/Snow Church in morning with Elise. Then I went to Davenport to get Mother Koehler and the Iles family and brought them over for dinner. Rained and the turned to snow We were late in taking the family home and snow stuck to windshield. In trying to make a left hand turn on Pershing Blvd. at 11th St. had a collision with a Ford. Both cars damaged more or less. Snow was blinding and did not see approaching car. The Buick damaged $8300. Ford about $3000. Our girls nose was bumped and we took her to Dr Carney's. Had both cars hauled to Otts garage.
