From back: "Eric Arn, a member of Worcester Polytechnic Institute's class of 1988, with a summary of his research on the small RNA U1. He cloned the gene for U1 by making a complementary DNA (cDNA) "library" which is useful for making molecular probes to determine some of the properties of the U1 small RNA. It is the first time a cDNA library has been used to study the function of U1. Arn is a Tolland, CT native."
