公开 DepositedTHURSDAY, May 7, 1936 Clear/Rain Reached Syracuse at 930 A.M. Elise spent the day at V.D. Morans (Mrs Choquill) who has a shop for furnishings. Elise ordered Venetian blinds for Princeton. Also will probably get dining room chairs from her at cost. I was in field with 2 way plow at Wm Glasows, Lafayette. Earl Schoolcraft, Wm Choquill Ed Larson, Hopkins, Curtis Cook, Sheldon [Sp ?] Herb Baker were in the field too. The plow did well held its depth and with landing lever held to its place on the side hill. The beams hit tractor wheels in turning but this can be remedied. All in all everyone was much pleased. Elise and I had the Wm Choquills and Ed Larsons for dinnr at the Hotel Syracuse. We left for Chicago at 925 on the Commodore Vanderbilt. [Passenger's check: Syracuse to Chicago, Ill.]
