SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29 1946 Elise and I talked to mother on the telephone at 930 this morning. It is her 94th birthday. She said she was feeling well. We did not go to church. i worked outside all morning. [Signature: Carl H Schlapp] amazed at this superb work [Signature: Frances H. Schlapp] Webster Grove Mo. At the outing Club for dinner as quests of Elises mother. Vollmers, Schlapps, Muellers, Oty, Sissy & her man Adele Pope. Later Elise & I took the Vollmers & 5 Schlapps over here & then we all went to the Henry Priesters for supper and an evening of music.
