He said he saw on the Chapman ranch near Corpus Christi 2 Farmalls equipped with 4 row cultiators that farmers had made themselves, by take 2 - two row Farmall cultivators and placing them side by side and then joining by flexible joints and gauge wheels [sketch: flexible joints] Davidson thinks this may have been done last year altho IHC built 50 4 row cults in which extra rigs are placed at rear. These were condemned & not used. We should investigate this at once. Zimmerman mentioned a man named Campbell who might be worth while on cotton picker. Also Daw Reed mentioned Loudon plow hitch for Fordson with Moline Plow. no wheels etc.
