FRIDAY DEC. 3 1948 Metabolism test this morning -18 so am to keep on with 2 grain thyroid and have another test in 6 weeks. Lee and Bill moved down from Dubuque today. The weather warm and ideal for moving. The kiddies are with us for the weekend. Elise & I went out to see the Franks' boat. It is really magnificent. They leave for the south tomorrow at 7 - We stopped to see Dorothy French. Sis [Hart?] her daughter, died suddenly yesterday morning.
