FRIDAY SEPT 2. This morning I took several photographs of Marjories place. Then after breakfast we four went up to Cabin 4 miles away. A beautiful view of Ascutney Then we all went to Woodstock at the English shop. Bought Bill a pair of flannel [trousers] and if it can be had a cashmere sweater for me. Then to the Bridgewater Woolen Mills Bought Bill a Woolen Shirt andcloth for Pooh. Started back at 11 coming via Brattleboro 275 miles in all. Louise Gregory called in evening [Insert: map]
