Wednesday, May 14, 1941 Clear/Rain [Headlines: Tribune; World news] Bopf suggested working out electric motor devices for lifting and adjusting towed implements using battery on tractor for power. [Drawing:Tuft's New Ensilage Harvester] Charley Wiman & I saw this harvester in the field May 6th at Ottumwa. Thought of this idea today of using the electric starting motor on a tractor to operate the power lift or other implement adjusting means.
