WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 3 1947 We waxed all the sown stairs floors, took down awnings etc today. Bill Took Oliver his cat to eh Paul Prestons - Elise & I at Edith Nyes for dinner, Ruth & Chas Hamilton there too while Bill stayed at the farm. A letter from Lee says they are promised the number 12 house 3 bedroom in the Deere housing project at 6750 a month rent. They are glad not to have to buy at high prices.
