WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31 1949 Elise and I took Lee and the kiddies to the Worcester Air Port in time for the 745 plane this morning. A fog over the airport kept the plane from landing. It encircled the air port for 3 hours and finally flew back to Boston. Finally at 123 P.M. Lee and the kiddies took off in a plane for New York They expect to get a plane there for Chicago and reach Moline tonight in plane from Chicago. We took John Curtis to the Old Mill for dinner.
