FRIDAY FEBRUARY 7 1947 About zero all day with heavy winds. Even I think it is cold. This sketch of gas tanks on each side of tractor seems to offer some encouragement to improve appearence of tractor. [Drawing: Gas tanks mounted on tractor] Went to the Harvester Works to see their first attempt at making a non removable shield like sketch Jan 31st. It was fair, but they plan to make another of 20 guage which should be much better.
