SATURDAY MAY 28 1949 Worked in yard. Birthday Club in evening taking the Getz's as our guests. They said they would like to join the club. [Stamp: U.S. Postage Annopolis Tercentinary] (continued from May 30) need clothing, I would like to answer her with thanks and that we are now, in that way taken care of and for the time being dont need any- thing. The last clothing package helped us out beautifully. Through your kindness we are well supplied with food, so tht I beg now that for some time you do not send, otherwise I will feel under too mych obligation to you. May I beg you to give your friend Mr Burton F. Peek of Moline my most hearty thanks and tell him of my joy over his very wonderful gift.
