For many years over half the farm machinery deaths have been due to tractor accidents. In 1948 there 21 tractor fatalities which is 80%of the total of 26 argricultural mach- inery deaths and 34% of all farm fatalities. Of the 21 tractor fatalities 17 of 81% by the tractor overturning.
