Ther Mon. Dec. 25, 1911 Wea The first Christmas away from home. Friends however made it a pleasant day. Particularly the Mixters. They seemed to be pleased with the picture I drew. Went to the Hofs on the Island for dinner. Met all the army people there. Went to the Mixters for supper. Mrs Mixter is going to see that the apartment is cleaned & fixed up. We went over it in the morning. Bed 10
