SATURDAY NOV. 27 1948 I went to a lunch given by Col Warner for his father Mr Troy of Poukeepsie, a retired stock broker of Wall St. at the Golf Club. Those invited were Burt Peek, Charlie Stone, Harry Evans, Jack Dow, Ted Stahl, Ardo Mitchell, (Fred Lamb who couldn't come) and I. It was a very pleasant occasion. We listened to the Army, Navy game over the radio 21 to 21. Elise and I went to a dinner dance given by the Ray Cundy's for nearly 300 people. it is their 40th Wedding Anniversary. A most elaborate party.
