THURSDAY DEC. 8 1949 Elise & I were thrilled seeing the movie Hamlet with Lawrence Olivier ~~~~~~ received the scolarship because he will learn very much for all his life. You can imagine how happy my husband is with this solution. I can only tell about Wol- frams letters when I can see him every four weeks for ten munutes and speak to him under guard. Mrs Cade wrote me such a pleasant letter and enclosed such pretty pictures of the children and her- self which have given me great pleasure. I shall thank her within the next few days.
