Those too she would mother and protect as a woman gathers her children in her arms. Nor was she unconcious of the city in which so many of the years of her life were passed, nor of the people in it. She has left the stamp of her interest, of her good works, and of her generous influence, where human mecessity of injustice demanded her help. An I must bear witness gratefully to her layalty to the church wo which she was tied affectionately by stongs bonds of inheritance and of pride in the contrib- ution that older ones of her fanily had given to that religious movement, in which she also evidenced her devotion to the local church in which she had invested so many years of activity. Those loyalties and devotions have gone with her to that resting place beyond the farden wall. I cannot think that when one follows deathe out into the mystery they leave behind all the treasures the heart will accumulate here, Nor do they go very far away where there is no longer knowledge of the familiar places or voices.
