Ther Fri. Dec. 15, 1911 Wea Warm Spread 8 loads of manure. In morning the spreader worked well for 3 loads but balked on the 4th. It slid the wheels. I realy do not know what the reason was. Took the spreader all to pieces and in afternoon it went O.K. Could do anything at all with it. Weighed this 50 buchel machine It weighed 1690 lbs. Probably this will not be 1650-1675 when all patterns are finished etc. Went to Mr. Todd's in evening. Bed 10.30
