TUESDAY MARCH 4 1947 I talked on phone with both Ed Doerr and F.M.Wallace at Northern Trust. Both tell me I can make a partial distribution of the principal of the O.C. Koehler Estate so I asked Northern Trust Co to send me twenty thousand dollars as soon as the funds are available. [Drawing: seat on tractor?] A shower dinner at the Outing Club given by [Hansen & Deets?] Priester by the Henry and Walter Priesters. About 30 there Bill Cade made a knife board and Elise and I gave 4 kitchen knives.
