Saturday, January 4, 1936 Cloudy/Snow Lee left on the 1035 train this morning. 8 or more young people on the train all going back to schoool. Lee had a wonderful vacation and was out every night at some function or other. Elise and I went on the Black hawk Hike. It was walking around Campbells Island on th snow covered river. 33 present. Cold and windy and breaking thru crust makes it hard walking. But a good work out. Dinner at the Simonsons.
