This report details the market analysis of a potential car-sharing initiative in Monteverde, a popular tourist location in Costa Rica. Many tourists pass through, bringing rented vehicles, contributing to carbon emissions. This service would act as an income source for car owners, and provide access to cars for renters, without increasing car presence. In this report we detail transportation habits of locals and tourists, describe trends in interviews, and discuss the buyer and seller profiles with recommendations on features.
