DSP audiometer

Public

The DSP Audiometer MQP involved designing and building a prototype of a stand-alone ANSI S3.6-1996 Type 4C pure-tone and speech audiometer. Development of audiometer involved using the TI C31 DSP as the hardware platform. Other components were added to work in conjunction with the DSP. C was chosen as the language of choice to create the audiometer software, which runs on the DSP. The objective was to keep the final product's cost very competitive with similar products on the market.
