Something wicked -- psychologically suggestive methods in staging supernatural horror

Public

Effective staging of supernatural horror can be achieved using psychologically suggestive methods to provide an audience with a balance of imaginatively, emotionally, and intellectually engaging material. This project, completed at the London project center, delineates a method of "augmented psychological suggestion" that uses modern technology purposefully to convey fear and uncertainty. Supporting material includes historical research, live performance observation, interviews with theatre professionals, and original creative work.
