This MQP involves programming a robot to do the job of a human. A customized gripper is being designed for a PUMA robot for use at WPI. It will take GE aircraft vanes out of a tray that we have also developed, and sand them down for use in an aircraft engine. Pro/Engineer, UG, and Cadkey have been used to design and model the parts for this Project. This MQP incorporates many aspects of design, particularly in the gripper.
