Development of the simulation satellite suborbital telemetry unit

Public

The Simulated Satellite (SimSat) project is a NASA education and outreach activity designed to engage high school students in the design and construction of a small scientific payload. This payload travels to high altitudes on a balloon where experiments are conducted. To further the development of the SimSat program, our team developed a prototype flight payload to sense in-flight attitude, rotation and other data. These data would be logged in-flight to a non-volatile memory for post-flight ground based retrieval and analysis.
