Protein kinase assay development and compound characterization using HTRF technology

Public

Because of the interest in auto-immune inflammatory diseases by Abbott Bioresearch Center, and the prominence of protein kinases and their pathways in the cause of some diseases, it is the hope that inhibition of a particular chosen kinase will cure a specific inflammatory disease. This project will describe the initial steps of a target's characterization, and the search for a specific compound that demonstrates specific inhibition against our target without dramatic inhibition of other prominent and related kinases through the usage of HTRF Technology.
