The project's purpose is to investigate structural design and construction planning activities for a reinforced concrete building. Concrete construction is considered as an alternative approach for an existing steel building. The structural design included an assessment of the fire performance and safety of reinforced concrete. Comparative costs, schedules, and constructability, bearing in mind the client's needs, are assessed. The results will be an analysis that can assist future clients in determining the value of constructing concrete projects.
