Redesign of a razor cartridge unload mechanism

Public

This report presents a new design for the unload mechanism that is currently used in the contour razor manufacturing process. The proposed design reduces the system to a single cam-driven linkage, and decreases the degrees of freedom of the system to one, creating a simpler and more reliable design. These improvements should result in fewer malfunctions of the device and create the potential for a reduced scrap rate.
