This primary objective of this report is to reduce the cycle time of landing gear parts at Wyman Gordon. The project team used lean manufacturing techniques, time studies, historical databases and interviews to analyze the overall processes and the constraints. With these findings, possible areas for improvement were determined and recommendations were made to improve these areas. In addition, multiple processes were redesigned and an implementation plan was created.
