Design of the new Canton Central Village

Public

This project considered the concept of relocating the central village in the town of Canton, Maine as part of the town's new comprehensive plan. A survey of structures in the floodplain was conducted to determine which structures were prone to flooding and how many should be removed from the floodplain and relocated to the new village. Based on this survey and expected growth, two village center alternatives were developed. A recommendation was made based on cost and available grant programs.
