A streetscape condition rating system has been designed and tested for the Montgomery County government. It is implemented using a form that is filled out by an observer. This form is based on a list of streetscape criteria organized into several categories. Photographic benchmarks were collected to illustrate and define the streetscape criteria. A database was also designed to compile results from the observer forms. A training packet consisting of a power point presentation and training manual was put together as well. This is to familiarize observer with the streetscape condition rating system.
