FM transreceiver active antenna

Public

A radio band voice quality transceiver is by no means a novel concept. However, by applying more recent theories in active antennas, improvements over traditional devices in size, weight and cost are expected. This report details the construction and testing of designs leading towards an active antenna transceiver. To date, the project has resulted in a fully realized dual-patch active antenna oscillator transmitter, as well as test data covering the current state of a similar dual-patch active antenna based receiver.
