Little Green Dog is a small eco-friendly pet care business looking to expand their product line due to the increasing competition and need for more options of sustainable pet care items on the market. Our project evaluated the needs of New Zealand dog owners to generate ideas for new products. We went to consumers to collect feedback to refine product ideas and address potential concerns. In addition, we analyzed results from market testing to recommend the best new product for Little Green Dog to develop. This project suggests that our sample of New Zealand dog owners were primarily keen to purchase insect-based treats, with sustainable supplements as a close second. Thus, we proposed that Little Green Dog implements insect-based treats as their next product.
