The George C. Gordon Library of WPI offers students many high‐quality educational services. Like anyone reliant on old technology, the library staff face challenges in their daily operations. Utilizing LibraryH3lp, an old technology, the library offers a live chat platform to assist students. To ease the staff’s troubles, we invested in an MQP to development an application to fully replace LibraryH3lp. We organized meetings with the staff to establish a solid baseline and build a skeleton of a new platform that would better fit their needs. From there, a prototype was built that aimed to provide more functionality and a better user experience for all.
