The primary goal of this project was to examine the process a company undertakes when contemplating outsourcing. The primary methodology utilized was the case study method. We studied ten companies or settings in order to develop a model of the process. We conducted interviews of key executives at these companies after developing a questionnaire. We recorded each interview and transcribed the date. From this data, we formulated an outsourcing model.
