Lunar Development Robotics Competition
PublicOur IQP focused on championing the idea of a college-level lunar-themed robotics competition. Returning to the Moon and creating livable lunar bases there, along with the associated issues with that, are going to be persistent problems in the future. A large problem will be determining how to handle lunar regolith and use it as a resource. Based on these future lunar development problems, we proposed that a competition be developed to help draw interested college students into this emerging interdisciplinary field of hybrid Space Technologists. They might see it as a way to gain practical experience as well as a chance to display their skill in front of potential employers. -
